Prompt: Working with others can expose you to ideas or perspectives you may not have considered on your own. What is one idea, suggestion, or approach from a group member that improved your paragraph or changed the way you thought about the argument? Explain how it helped you.

One of my peers in my group said that I can use stringer evidence for my claim. They said it would help make my claim more clear. This helped me to revise my paragraph more. It also made the argument more convincing. It helped me look at the argument from a new perspective.

In class we practiced vocab words. I also answered comprehension questions of the definitions.

The activity in the book helped me feel more confident with those new vocab words. I need to learn how to explain my vocabulary.

Which learning method do you enjoy the most? Class discussions, worksheet work, or hands-on activities. Select one and tell why.

Think of a time when you tried to persuade someone to agree with you, change their mind, or do something you wanted. What were you trying to persuade them to do or believe? How did you use ethos, pathos, or logos to persuade them? Which appeal was most effective and why?
